Applications of stable oxygen and hydrogen isotopes in hydrological research: Slovenian experience
Uporaba stabilnih izotopov kisika in vodika v hidroloških raziskavah: slovenske izkušnje

- Povzetek: Z uporabo stabilnih izotopov kisika in vodika v hidroloških raziskavah lahko odgovorimo na vprašanja, na katera z običajnimi hidrološkimi meritvami veliko težje najdemo odgovor. Tako nam lahko stabilni izotopi razkrijejo, kam se steka voda, ko dežuje, ter po katerih poteh pride padavinska voda do površinskih vodotokov. Prispevek prikazuje teoretično osnovo uporabe stabilnih izotopov v hidroloških raziskavah, prikazana je povezava z določenimi hidrološkimi procesi, kot je tvorba (pod)površinskega odtoka. Podajamo kratek pregled uporabe stabilnih izotopov v zadnjih 15 letih s poudarkom na raziskavah, ki so bile izvedene v Sloveniji. Sledi opis in preliminarni rezultati meritev in analiz, ki potekajo v okviru raziskav nehomogenega porečja Ljubljanice, v katerih bomo poskušali z uporabo stabilnih izotopov nadgraditi znanje o hidroloških procesih.
